Adam was thinking of Mel’s Rock Pile when he mentioned that Rock Pile thing – that was a regular skit on SCTV. I almost yelled it out loud cause I couldn’t believe someone was remembering that – well, half – remembering it.

Loved the interview. I really enjoy listening to what goes on behind the scenes in the business. This is why I like Adam’s long form chat style – you get to hear more of the person and less of the product. Great stuff!

Since I am from Michigan – where Gordon Lightfoot’s “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” is played OFTEN – I feel qualified to definitively answer the question regarding the song. He referred to Whitefish Bay in the song, which ie primarily formed by the peninsula which ends in Whitefish Point, about 30 miles northwest (as the crow flies) from Sault Saint Marie.
