Adam, very interesting podcast.

I object to the picture of the “Oilsands” (not Tarsands) you used. I work for EnCana and all of our oilsands projects are in-situ which means it is extracted through the drill bit and has a much smaller footprint than the mining operation shown in this picture.

Amazing how people can’t just disagree with liberals, they have to demonize them and accuse them of every vice, flaw and failing in the book. It’s not that they have the wrong idea about healthcare, it’s that they’re SOCIALISTS OUT TO DESTROY AMERICA!!!

If everybody involved in the conversation was respectful and didn’t immediately start throwing around retarded slogans like “ObamaCare” and “death panels”, we might actually make some progress instead of just getting mired in a stupid tribal frat-fight. “My side is better — no, MINE is!” Fucking ridiculous. I don’t get this guy. He dresses up in make believe Halliburton bubble suits and that is supposed to be an indictment of Halliburton? You can just make up things about people/groups you don’t like and that is supposed to be clever, insightful, speaking truth to power? If I said to a group of people that Obama strangles puppies in order to get an erection would that be social commentary or would I just be an a-hole who is lying about a public figure in order to make myself seem important? I think it is the latter. Maybe I have to see some of this guy’s “comedy” to understand.

Not to mention in the bill passed by the House, there are penalties of fines and jail time if you dont pay into the ObamaCare plan.

What kind of right do you have where you are forced to pay for other people’s health care or you go to jail.
