I think donny was arguing that the decentralization of media (i.e. youtube, twitter, etc.) via the internet gives us a common thread where comedy can be meted out. Kind of how almost every comedy podcast has some passing take on the twitter name (twating is a common one). Another reason why media content has become better is because the barrier for risque content is lowered. FX, USA, TNT, HBO, and Showtime gives darker, “edgier” material a place to be shown. I doubt Sons of Anarchy or Californication or Curb Your Enthusiasm would ever be made on network television.
BTW. I liked Dr. Drew better when he was the put upon partner of Adam’s comedic rants. When Dr. Drew tries to be funny he seems to merely repeat himself in a loud, “I have a stick up my ass” manner, which might be funny once in a while, but gets redundant quickly.

As a muslim and a fan of Adam, you can imagine I was getting really angry when I was listening to this podcast. And its also disappointing that two VERY intelligent people, can say so many absolutely idiotic things.
1. you can’t call him a muslim terrorist because you don’t call abortion bombers and the KKK christian terrorists. They use Christianity as a basis for this twisted ideologies. The KKK burns a freaking cross. But you don’t call them that because you recognize that they’re twisting the religion. The media doesn’t call them that because it makes the story untrue for the majority of their audience since they know that its not christianity. Islam is in the same position but you aren’t educated enough or open minded enough to see whats really going on.
2. if terrorism is an attack on citizens to frighten and further a political or religious cause, then what was Hiroshima/Nagasaki? 140k CITIZENS killed in Hiroshima alone. How is that NOT an act of terrorism?
At the end of the day, we have to admit that there are idiots and murderers from all religions and countries. Stalin was an atheist, that doesn’t mean that an absence in the belief of god = mass murderer.
Adam, instead of just assuming you understand whats going on just by reading headlines, you should really gather the facts, look at history, and then admit that even then, you don’t really have a solution.
