I think 2.99 might be a bit pricey per live show. But I think another good idea would be a sort of “insider” subscription service. Where the masses still get the daily podcast but only the subscribers would get special benefits like the stand up podcast or the streaming video feed.
I like this format & this was a good podcast until the end. Torture, again? Fuck.
A couple of things, not that Adam will ever see this:
If he did a little reading Adam would discover that, generally speaking (there are exceptions, of course) the people within the government, military, CIA, etc., who had actual knowledge of and experience with torture were opposed to using it because they know it produces unreliable information. Their objections came not from being liberal, or “evolved,” or worried about the victims – they came from experience and the study of history. But, I guess they are all pussies.
The political and media hacks with no military background or specialized knowledge of intelligence gathering were/are the ones who pushed for its use and continue to defend it.
I agree with Adam – we should let the experts do what they need to do to keep us safe. Unfortunately, Gonzales, Cheney, Bush & the rest of the chicken hawks who never served were the ones pulling the levers. If it had been left to the experts there wouldn’t have been torture, especially in places like Gitmo and Abu Ghraib.
Adam isn’t “telling it like it is.” He’s telling it like he sees it but that’s hardly commendable if he’s speaking from ignorance.
Also, Ted Bundy WAS executed.
Hey Adam, lay off Bahrain. They are one of the most western friendly Arab countries. If you want to insert a random Arab country into your next terrorist rant go with Yemen, no one likes them anyway.

Another awesome podcast love the adam and you shows, love the live shows 2.99 is a small price to pay for the 300 plus hours of free listening you’ve already given me.
Hey Adam or Weezer. Thought you might be interested in this. Adam is always talking about how great the movie “Breaking Away” was from 1979 (I loved it too) – do you remember, there was a short dude with the major temper that was always picking fights? That guy was played by Jackie Earle Haley (sounds like a serial killer right?) and he also recently played the part of Rorschach on The Watchmen. He hasn’t worked a lot from 1979 to now but the guy is great. You should try to get him on the podcast …. because I know that’s how it works – you just call him up and invite him and he comes … right?
You absolutely need to get Roddy on the show again. There are a 1000 stories that he has to share. Great show.
