Tommy Kendal brings in his fresh new 2012 Mercedes AMG CLS 63. This car is hot off the boat with the new 5.5L Twin Turbo V8. The big blown AMG cranks out 550 hp and breaks 4.4 seconds 0-60 with is seven-speed automatic transmission.

Not that often you see a 1900+ Hp Diesel Race Truck. Mike Ryan’s Freightliner is just that. With it producing close to 2000hp on Diesel fuel, it no wonder this truck produces some spectacular results on the track and places such as Pikes Peak. This ‘lightweight’ Freightliner weights in at just about the 9900 pound mark, features a 2 huge turbocharges and numerous other tricks to allow this truck to perform, well, crazy fast as well as handle well enough to compete in Pikes Peak and finish near the top of the marks. We won’t say how cool it was to see it come to the shop in Gulf Racing Livery!

Tom and his crew brave the 100 degree weather and bring a couple of Camaros. How about a 2000hp 1969 street driven car as well as the F-Bomb Camaro which was built for David Freiburger, Cheif Editor of Hot Rod Magazine. Adam and Sandy take a listener email and help a guy out. Adam Carolla, Sandy Ganz (The Professor) and Tom Nelson of Nelson Racing Engines (NRE) take a look at 2 bad assed Camaro’s. The First is a 2000hp+ (You read that correct) 1969 Camaro. The powerplant is an NRE twin turbo 572 Big Block Chevy, from it’s custom billet intake and turbo’s. Yes, billet NRE designed turbos! The car rolled in to the CarCast HQ with a bit of rumble, air Conditioning and stereo. The second is Tom’s first super car, the F-Bomb which was built for David Freiburger, Cheif Editor of Hotrod Magazine. While not up to the same Hp as the 1969, the 406 cubes of SBC cranks out a respectable 1540 hp and 1527 lbs of torque. Both are have some trick features and can run on pump gas. Works of engineering art.
