i really hope you guys read this. lynette, the more i hear about adam’s family issues, the more i suspect that adam’s dad has an autism spectrum disorder. the musicality, the way he seems to not have any social skills, the way he is ‘inept’ at practical matters sound to me like things i have read about some people ‘on the autism spectrum,’ as they say. it’s something to look into that might at least give some understanding.
i enjoy listening to you all. you get me through the day.
I used to dance to the Go-Gos with my fam when I was young as well, It was really a good part my life
By FAR the best episode so far! Adam’s interview was so telling and raw. Thanks for bringing out the candid honesty in him. The Corolla kids are very lucky to have Lynette and Adam as their parents! (And Buster is pretty lucky too Teresa!).
what kind of father NEVER changes a diaper and won’t buckle his kids in their car seat? yeah, yeah, such a tough upbring.
You have no email, so I want you to know that your iphone connection for the podcast is still not working. It only gets the first 10 minutes of the show. Don’t you want us anymore?
i was wondering if you can list some of the songs that your family dances too? i did not recognize the last song from the podcast.
thanks,
steven

Nothing bad happened
Went to see friends who live in the small village and before bed we went for a walk. My girlfriend has older kids ( 5 and
and they were skipping and running. I was stuck with a stroller and 10 month old, while my 2.5 year old decided to follow older kids. She was running and wasn’t really responding to me calling her back. The car was driving very slow in the opposite direction and my daughter just stopped and stood there and didn’t react at all. She didn’t leave, but acted like nothing was happening. Once again, as I was running toward here and telling her to get off the road, she did nothing.
The car stopped and very slowly went around her and everything was fine, but I am freaked out. All the stupid movies and stories are in my face and I just don’t know what to do
dear t and l –
loved this show! i’ve preferred the episodes with funny guest personalities… ala andy dick, d.d., and ace. though i download every podcast, i don’t listen to them all… too many great shows on the ace network. g** bless you all for working so hard for so little, for your loyal minions.
btw – jesus t… you look hotter, sexier, and fantastilicious (ier) w/ each passing day. no doubt a result of your glorious new life w/ buster and batman.
take care and keep up the great work – moses
Nothing better than chalk & slate.
I loved this podcast!!! It was great to hear more about how Adam is with his kids. Lynette and Adam seem like a great couple.
Thanks for a great podcast – I really enjoyed the interview with Adam & Lynnette. I look forward to your podcast each week!
Teresa- share with us your self tanner, looks good!
Life should be a joy, thank you Adam for spreading the word.
Excellent show.
T–you are looking ravishing lately. My goodness…
Awesome podcast! Love Teresa interviewing Adam. This was a real treat.
I looooooved this podcast!! It was great to hear Adam talking so candidly and sweetly about his family! That you guys dance with your kids is aboslutely precious!!
A-Mazing podcast!!!
I really enjoyed Adam’s message on this podcast -his desire for his children to know their parents enjoy them and life is good.
You don’t hear that too much in parenting advice, but it’s super-important! I have always tried to make sure my son knows that.
Thanks Lynette, Theresa & Adam!
Awesome podcast!
Soooooo good! Teresa’s knack at bringing the sweet out of Adam has always been unparalleled, but this was impressive even for the masterful T. There’s literally no one else on the planet that could’ve sat down with the Carollas and had this result. So good! This episode and the Horrible Things Can Happen To Good Parents episode are neck-and-neck for podcast episode of the millenium, says this listener.
First time listener. Fairly conservative mommmy with tween and twins. Love, love the honest relatable real talk. Great job sisters!
It almost always makes me cry when I hear Adam talk about his kids. Turns out he is a good dad in spite of his childhood. Great Pod cast.
Great show, highly informative and entertaining, you two are the foxiest moms in streaming media. Impressive to hear from the well adjusted ACE-Dad, gettin it on per usual.
Another great show, TPE. Can’t recall how many how-to books, articles and lists I’ve seen instructing how to be a “good” parent. Adam’s simple but superb “make sure your kids know that they’re a source of joy, not a drag” is the only bit of advice that anyone needs. Genius.
@Michelle – sorry, can’t agree. I LOVE the theme song!
@TPE staff – if you need any information/content on traveling or vacationing with families or kids, I’m a professional and happy to help. Just holler!
i love your show so much! i can’t stop listening! however, i always cringe when your theme song comes on in the beginning of the show. Is anyone else with me on that? sorry for the negativity, other than that, the show is incredibly entertaining. teresa is brilliant and hilarious and lynette is compelling. love you guys. best of luck.
is the song by melissa etheridge? sorry… i’m not a pop aficionado. i personally enjoy the beatle-esc harmonies, but yes, i agree that the song is otherwise a little painful to endure… but hey, it’s not unbearably long.
I love that song!
Great show! My kids and I just got done dancing and it was so much fun. I’m going to suggest this to every parent I know. We laughed, we were moving, the kids didnt want to stop and they are 9 & 11yrs old.
Parenting is a pretty crappy job but daily dancing seems like a cheap, easy way to lighten up.
Thanks a ton and keep up the good work!
Love the pod. Favor to ask. Can you guys please remind Donnie and Ace to fix the technical problem that’s been keeping Aceman’s podcast from being played on Iphones or downloaded on from iTunes all week? I’m dying without my daily Ace and I’d imagine that thousands of other fans are too! Pleeeeeease help. Thx
I won’t forget this podcast! It’s a great one.
Hey guys great episode, I just wanted to say that Lynette was first mentioned by the news segment on one of the little segments on the actual Howard stern show. It was funny because he called here a yen-ta. The rest of his crew jumped all over Howard because he didn’t tell them and that Lynette scooped him. It was mentioned a lot and he got crap even on later shows this week because he was holding out on his audience. It was great for me as a big fan of both shows to hear TPE mixed in with Howard.
I am a long time fan. one of the things that makes the poscast so enjoyable is no one talks over anyone. (the view is unwatchable because everybody talks at once.) All the poscasts are a pleasure to hear & that’s one of the reasons. I download them all & love them.
I think this is my favorite podcast so far. I’m married to a man who had a childhood very similar to Adam’s. As someone who had an essentially perfect childhood, it’s really nice to hear that perspective. And similarly, I feel like what attracted my husband to me was more about the kind of wife and mother I might be (we’re still working on the latter), than it was about any really specific qualities.
Thank you all for the open honesty with which you discuss your past and how it impacts you today.
I’m also less freaked out that my husband is going to turn out like his super wacked-out mom.
LJ
Teresa you are truly gorgeous
Aww, I wanted to see Buster’s cute little embroidered outfit from Red Envelope! lol
Good show!
Lynette – you look gorgeous in the picture from the party in NY with John Stewart!
Aw, this was my favorite parent experiment yet! Adam’s description of what he lacked as a child (a sense that his parents could experience joy, and that he was a source of joy to them) and what he tries to give his children really resonated with me. I had a great childhood, and sometimes I worry I won’t be as good a mom as my mom was to me. I’ve read lots of books about parenting, both secular and religious, but as I reflect on my own childhood, I think Adam’s foul-mouth, atheistic advice trumps any other theory.
Loved today’s podcast…so fun to hear Adam on the show!
Is Adam sitting closer to the camera, or is his head really that much bigger than T’s?
T’s looking good! And Kid Venture? I wasn’t a kid all that long ago. This is one of those places I would have been bored going to.
My Ma has a picture of herself, with both my ex wife and my brother’s ex on her fridge. When quizzed about it, she said she likes how she looked in the photo. We’ve both been divorced for over a decade and both are remarried.
My Ma…classic
Hey Ladies,
Can you tell Adam that I saw a Russian thug smoking a cigarette on “24″. S08E22. NBC screwed Adam. Keep it up. Luvin tha podcast.
Jason: I’m pretty sure Adam was trying to get a sitcom, probably in an early part of the evening, and certainly a different network. I’m sure each network has different rules about cigarette smoking. Also, I never, ever, ever see smoking on a 1/2 hour situation comedy. I definiely have seen smoking from time to time on hour long dramas. I don’t think smoking is “illegal” on those shows, but each show has it’s own guidelines. This is not an FCC thing, as far as I’m concerned, or whatever the television version of FCC is.
I hate smoking censorship, if that’s what it can be called, but Adam’s situation on his show was certainly not the same as seeing some thug blow a butt, on some nighttime drama program, esp. “24″ which falls under the “protected NYPD Blue” bullshit radar, that network censors would probably just ignore.
Hey ladies. Listening to you talk about meeting Bruce and it sounds like me last Friday when I got to see Adam at the 3rd show on Kirkland-he signed my ACP shirt that I brought with me-can’t wait to see another show-
Teresa you amaze me with your wit, intelligence and humor-I love your laugh-you two make magic on the show-THANK YOU
The podcast ends in the middle of Adam talking. Nice job, Donny! Put down the fuckin’ bong for 5 minutes once in a while, y’jewbilly hipsterdouche.
Seems like it’s only you.
Lookin’ foxy, T.
